Hossein (Saeed) Hashemi-Moghaddam, born in 1968 in Tehran, has been residing in Sweden since 1985. He is a senior electronics and telecommunications engineer with extensive professional experience in international companies, including Ericsson and Siemens. From the beginning of his residence in Sweden, he has been actively involved in political and civic activities, and in 1991 he cooperated with the Left Party of Sweden. Alongside his political activities in Europe, Hashemi-Moghaddam is also known as an active political activist engaged in Iranian affairs. He has participated in humanitarian and grassroots projects in underprivileged regions of Iran. In the field of media, he was among the founders of the first independent local radio station in the city of Malmö. He is currently a member of the Strategic Council of the Environmental Party of Iran.
