Arash Hejabrī was born in 1983 in the city of Isfahan and, in terms of ethnic roots, is originally of Bakhtiari Lur descent. He holds a master’s degree in Nanotechnology Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden, and is also a graduate in Civil Engineering from one of Sweden’s higher education institutions.
Arash Hejabrī began his political activities within various Swedish political parties, including the Social Democratic Party, the Left Party, the Swedish Green Party, and currently the Centre Party of Sweden (as a social-liberal party). Over the years, within the framework of these parties, he has gained diverse training and experience in political ideologies, organizational structures, and party decision-making processes. He served for one year as a party representative in the municipality in the field of urban planning for the Swedish Green Party.
Since 2022, coinciding with the start of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, Arash Hejabrī has actively joined this movement. By organizing seminars and political meetings in cooperation with Swedish political parties—attended by high-ranking Swedish politicians—as well as organizing and participating in numerous demonstrations in the city of Stockholm, he has sought to raise Western public awareness about the situation of the Iranian people and to strengthen political and social support for them.
The idea of establishing the Environmental Party of Iran was proposed by him, and in cooperation with a group of political and civil activists, he founded this party. He is a member of the Strategic Council and currently serves as the Secretary-General and Spokesperson of the party.
